Franco Dragone, of Cirque du Soleil fame, brings his exceptional directing talents to this production. His mastery is complimented by a cast of first class choreographers, set designers, costume designers, and more. The venue itself - The Colosseum - holds a very important role in this production. The 4,000 seat theater was built specifically for this show, and designed so that no seat is more than 150 feet from the stage. Though the theatre is quite large, at more than 22,000 square feet, its design and décor create a sense of sitting in a smaller, more intimate theater adding to the entire production. An entirely separate world is created within the theater, transporting the cast and audience into European town squares, antique temples and great city centers.
Showcasing a mix of Celine's greatest hits as well as classics from musical legends like Louis Armstrong, Etta James and Nat King Cole, the show brings together music from the past and present to create a passionate blend of sound. It features the largest indoor LED screen in the country (34 feet x 110 feet) which is the ideal backdrop environment for a visual array of sights to accompany each song. The 59-nine member cast features brilliant dancers, musicians and acrobats who add a spectacular visual element to the production.
Being a Celine Dion fan is not a requirement for enjoying this extraordinary show. It is a truly amazing mix of music, theater, dance and state-of-the-art special effects that is sure to impress every audience member.
